Which areas do you cover?

We provide off-leash dog walking adventures across the suburbs of Sydney’s Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches from Mosman to Willoughby, Lane Cove to Manly including:

Where will you take my dog?

All our dog walking adventures take place at local off-leash parks, dog-friendly beaches and bush trails.  Some of our more frequented include Tunks Park in Cammeray and Sirius Cove in Mosman.

How is my dog transported?

Your dog will be picked up from your home and will travel in style with our custom-equipped, air-conditioned vans.

How much time will my dog have to play?

All Stellar Paws group dog walks are a minimum of one full hour of playtime in the park.

How many dogs do you take at a time?

Our groups are limited to no more than four dogs per walker.

Can I see what my dog gets up to on a walk?

We share our adventures daily on social media so make sure to follow us on Instagram or Facebook to see all our furry friends faces!

Would you like to meet my dog first?

We always prefer to pop round for a free meet and greet with your pooch before their first day in the pack – a familiar face is always a friendlier one!  It also helps us to group like-minded dogs so they all get the most enjoyable experience possible.

How do I book a walk?

To make a booking simply call, text or email us with your request.  We’ll get back to you to confirm whether we have a space available for your pooch to play!

How far in advance should I book?

Most of the Stellar Paws pack choose to walk on the same days and with the same pack each week.  For casual walks you may book a session at any time, provided we have a space available.  However spots tend to fill up fast, so avoid potential disappointment by getting in as early as possible!

Do I need to leave my dog outside?

As long we don’t need a key to gain access, you’re all set!  Otherwise we may require a copy of any key necessary for access.  Pickups begin from 7am, although this timing may vary with the seasons.  We can determine how best to access your dog in our free meet and greet session or via email or phone instructions beforehand.

What if it's raining?

We walk in (almost) all weather conditions and make every effort to ensure your dog comes home as clean and dry as possible.  Unfortunately though we do not have a professional grooming setup.  If your dog is dirty or wet we are more than happy to give them a rinse and a towel-off before we drop them home.

What happens if I need to cancel a walk?

Not a problem!  Give us a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the day of your regular booking to cancel without penalty. Any cancellations advised on the same calendar day as the booking will be subject to the full service fee, including both regular and casual bookings.

How do I pay?

Walks are typically invoiced weekly via your nominated email address.  Many of our clients choose to take advantage of our automatic payment system, which can be billed to your bank account or credit card weekly, fortnightly or monthly.  Alternatively we also accept cash or direct bank transfer.

What about Weekends and Public Holidays?

We operate all weekdays except Public Holidays and a few weeks through the festive season.  We will always notify you in advance if we are taking a small break so you know what to expect.  Weekend bookings are available upon request and attract a 50% surcharge on top of the casual rate.

What happens if my scheduled walk gets cancelled?

Due to unforeseen circumstances such as an emergency or inclement weather, Stellar Paws may have to cancel a walk.  We will attempt to notify you of any such changes as soon as possible.

What happens in the event of an emergency?

Before we can welcome you to the pack, we require a preferred emergency contact for those just-in-case moments.  An emergency contact helps ensure we can always get a hold of someone on your end and keep them fully informed should anything take us by surprise!

Do you offer dog minding/sitting?

Stellar Paws does not offer any minding or sitting services.  However whether you are looking for minding, sitting, or boarding for your dog, we are more than happy to point you in the right direction in finding a trusty and reliable carer.
